Coda (Royal Albert Hall)

About This Project

Noble Russell’s bespoke furniture for Royal Albert Hall. Coda Restaurant

Working closely with Feildon and Mawson Architects and 8 Build Contractors for the redesign of Coda Restaurant within Royal Albert Hall. Noble Russell undertook the design and development of all the fixed banquette seating throughout the restaurant.

With our many years of experience in designing and making restaurant seating, Feildon and Mawson and 8 Build approached us to develop signature seating units for this iconic venue. With a material mix of rich green leather and American Black Walnut show wood contrasted with individual copper studs combined to give a modern twist to a heritage design. A seating layout of straight runs, intimate booths combined with show wood low walls help to divide bar areas from restaurant giving the restaurant flexibility and character.

Throughout the project, Noble Russell worked closely with the Architects to realise their design intent. Producing technical drawings and offering design solutions throughout the project. Contracted to 8 Build to manufacture and install the seating, we built up a great relationship that saw our design and installation teams working closely together to deliver an interior to the exacting standards required of this historic building.

The custom-made furniture was completed and installed by Noble Russell’s professional team on time and within budget, ready for the opening in late 2019.
